Curators' Statement:
"We feel honored and excited to be invited to curate the 7th Six in Studio at the Cleveland West Art League. This year’s theme of Social Justice is pertinent and provides artists a platform to channel the unsteady social oscillations our country and the rest of the world are experiencing. The selected artists’ interests range from healthcare to environmental justice exness, revealing personal and thoughtful examinations. Their ideas reveal what our world could look like in the absence or presence of social justice. Artists are the observers and documentarians of society. They create a mirror that is put in front of our faces. Art provokes us to reflect and we are looking forward to Kate, Juliette, Gregory, Robert, Shawn, and Nico to move and inspire us."
